ObjectiveTo explore the effect of femal rats to short-term alcohol-exposed on body weight and organ body ratio.MethodsFemal SD rats grouping to control,L-alcohol,M-alcohol and H-alcohol group,then received 10%,20% and 30% alcohol by intraperitoneal injection every day for 4 weeks.The animal were weight every week.The heart,liver,spleen,lungs,kidneys and testis of the animal were weight,than their organ body ratio were calculated.ResultsThe weight of H-alcohol group was lighter than the control and L-alcohol group in the first week of the exposure of ethanol (P＜0.05).The brain body ratio of M-alcohol group decreased versus the control and L-alcohol (P＜0.05).The liver and spleen body ratio of H-alcohol group increased versus the control,L-alcohol and M-alcohol group(P＜0.05).ConclusionShort-term exposure to high dose ethanol can affect the female rats weight growth,cause an decrease in brain body ratio,an increase in liver and spleen body ratio.
