ObjectiveTo observe the effect of sodium ferulate on early renal damage in patient with diabetic nephropathy.Methods80 cases with microalbuminuria in patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into routine treatment group (RTG) and sodium ferulate treatment group (SFG),The changes of the lipids,endothelin-1,serum β2-microglobulin and urinary β2-microglobulin,urine microalbumin before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.ResultsAfter the treatment, the levels of serum β2-microglobulin and urinary β2-microglobulin,urine microalbumin and endothelin -1 in the SFG significantly decreased (P<0.01),and the disorder of lipid metabolism improved;the levels of serum β2-microglobulin and urinary β2-microglobulin,urine microalbumin and endothelin-1 in RTG had no statistical difference before and after treatment (P<0.01).ConclusionTreatment of sodium ferulate can improve vascular endothelial function, reverse the early renal damage in patients with diabetic.
