ObjectiveTo explore the changes of cellular immune function in patients with acute episode of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and observe the effects of medication.Methods50 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in acute exacerbation were divided into two groups(Conventional group and thymosin group).Conventional therapy, such as anti-infection,phlegm reduction, relieving asthma, oxygen were used in conventional group(23 cases);thymosin group were added thymosin 120mg/d,for 2 weeks,on the basic therapy as the conventional group;then detected the cellular immune function level before and after treatment.ResultsBefore treatment, there were no significant differences between two groups in CD3、CD4、CD8、CD4/CD8(P>0.05).Compared with the conventional group,CD3、CD4、CD4/CD8 were significantly higher in thymosin group after treatment(P<0.01),but CD8 decreased obviously in thymosin group(P<0.01).The efficacy of thymosin group was better than conventional group(P<0.05).ConclusionThe cellular immune function of patients with acute episode of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease decreased significantly.Thymosin can significantly improve the cellular immune function of such patients and clinical therapeutic effect.
