ObjectiveTo study the value of spiral CT in diagnosis and therapeutic evaluation of amnestic mild cognitive impairment. MethodsClinical memory scale and spiral CT were used to detect memory, width of the temporal horn and hippocampus index respectively in 88 patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (observation group) and 30 cases of healthy subjects with normal cognition and memory (control group). The observation group were randomly divided into donepezil group (n=44,treated with donepezil, 5mg/d )and placebo group (n=44, treated with Vitamin C,1 g/d); memory, width of the temporal horn and hippocampus index between donepezil group and placebo group were compared after treatment for 18 weeks. ResultsThe scores of lenovo memories, meaningless graphics recognition, image free recall and associative learning scores and directed memory in observation group were significantly less than those in control group before treatment (P＜0.05),width of the temporal horn and hippocampus index in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group before treatment (P＜0.05). The scores of lenovo memories, meaningless graphics recognition, image free recall and associative learning scores and directed memory in donepezil group were significantly higher than those in placebo group after treatment (P＜0.05),width of the temporal horn and hippocampus index in donepezil group were significantly less than those in placebo group after treatment (P＜0.05). ConclusionsTo some degree, the patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment had memory impairment, and donepezil had certain curative effect for patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment, CT scan can provide a reference basis for clinical diagnosis and therapy.
