Efficacy of qiwei granules combined with tripterygium for treatment of patients with Type-2 diabetes nephropathy in stage-Ⅳand the impact on VEGF, MCP-1 and hs-CRP
ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of qiwei granules combined with tripterygium for treatment of patients with Type-2 diabetes nephropathy in stage-Ⅳand the impact on VEGF, MCP-1 and hs-CRP. MethodsA total of 114 patients with type-2 diabetes nephropathy in stage-Ⅳ admitted to our hospital from June 2013 to September 2015 were randomly divided into control group and combination group, with 57cases in each group. The control group were treated with Tripterygium on the basis of routine intervention, and the combination group receive qiwei granules on the basis of the control group. Clinical effect, the serum levels of VEGF, MCP-1 and hs-CRP, incidence of adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. ResultsThe total effective rate of the combination group (91.23%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (71.93%, P<0.05); after treatment, the levels of VEGF, MCP-1 and hs-CRP in the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.01), and the indicators mention above in the combination group was significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01); that was no significant difference of adverse reaction was found between the two groups (P>0.05). ConclusionsQiwei granules combined with tripterygium obtains an obvious efficacy for the treatment of patients with type-2 diabetes, it can effectively reduce the levels of serum VEGF and MCP-1, hs-CRP, which is worthy of popularization and application.
