ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of Sanmiao Xuanbi decoction combined with technetium ［99Tc］ methylenediphosphonate in acute gouty arthritis patients. MethodsA total of 50 cases of acute gouty arthritis patients were treated by Sanmiao Xuanbi decoction combined with technetium ［99Tc］ methylenediphosphonate for 2 weeks. Observation the therapeutic effect of the patients. The joint pain, pressure pain, redness and swelling and activity limitation score of the patients were compared before and after treatment. The levels of serum uric acid (UA), C reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) were compared before and after treatment. ResultsAfter 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of treatment was 98%. The scores of joint pain, pressure pain, swelling and limited activity were lower than those before treatment, the levels of UA, CRP and ESR were lower than those before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.01). ConclusionSanmiao Xuanbi decoction combined with technetium ［99Tc］ methylenediphosphonate treatment of acute gouty arthritis can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients, reduce the level of blood uric acid and inflammatory factors, and have no obvious adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
