ObjectiveTo explore the effect of acupotomy therapy on relieving pain in patients with knee joint disease and improving knee function. Methods80 patients with knee joint disease were divided into study group and control group by random number table, 40 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with traditional acupuncture therapy, and the study group was treated with acupotomy for 3 weeks. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients was observed and compared. The knee function, pain and anxiety of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. The quality of life of the two groups was compared after 2 years of follow-up. ResultsThe clinical efficacy of the study group was better than that of the control group. The total effective rate of the study group (92.5%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (67.5%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). After 3 weeks of treatment, the KOOS scores of the two groups were significantly increased. The KOOS scores of the study group were significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After 6 months of treatment, the NRS and VAS-A scores of the two groups were significantly reduced. The NRS and VAS-A scores of the study group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The scores of AIMS2-SF in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). ConclusionThe clinical effect of acupotomy on patients with knee joint disease is significant, which can effectively alleviate the pain symptoms, improve the knee joint function and improve the quality of life of patients.
