The efficacy of Huoxue Yishen decoction combined with irbesartan on patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy and its effect on renal function, inflammatory factors and vascular endothelial function
ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of Huoxue Yishen decoction combined with irbesartan in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy and the effect on renal function, inflammatory factors and vascular endothelial function. Methods102 patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy who were admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to September 2017 were randomly divided into observation group and control group 51 cases in each group. The control group were treated with Irbesartan tablets, and the observation group were treated with Huoxue Yishen decoction on the basis of the control group. The two groups were treated for 12 weeks. The therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared, and the fasting plasma glucose (FPG), urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER) and 24h urine protein, renal function, inflammatory factors and vascular endothelial function were observed before and after treatment. ResultsAfter 12 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of observation group (94.12%) was higher than that of control group (72.55%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of FPG, UAER and 24h urinary protein, Creatinine (Cr), Blood urea nitrogen (BUN), TNF-α, intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), C-reaction protein (CRP) and endothelin-1 (ET-1) were decreased in two groups after treatment. The above indicators of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group. The level of nitric oxide (NO) was increased in the two groups, the level of NO in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). ConclusionHuoxue Yishen decoction combined with irbesartan in the treatment of type 2 diabetic nephropathy is remarkable. It can improve renal function, reduce inflammation and improve vascular endothelial function.
