ObjectiveTo explore the effect of modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction on chemotherapy-related adverse reactions in patients with breast cancer chemotherapy. Methods80 patients with breast cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were enrolled and divided into observation group and control group, with 40 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with tropisetron during chemotherapy. Patients in the observation group were treated with modified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The symptoms and severity of toxic side effects during chemotherapy in the two groups were compared. The quality of life (physical status, social/family status, emotional status, functional status, additional attention) scores of the two groups before and after chemotherapy were compared. ResultsThe severity of nausea and vomiting and the decrease of white blood cell count in the observation group during chemotherapy were significantly less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). On the 10th day of chemotherapy, the physical status, social/family status, and emotional status scores of the two groups were significantly improved, and the scores of these three dimensions in the observation group were significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). ConclusionModified Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction can significantly reduce the toxic side effects during chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer chemotherapy, and significantly improve the life quality of patients. It has high clinical application value.
