ObjectiveTo investigate the curative efficacy of Bushen Qingre Yuyin Decoction combined with Pavlin capsule on patients with Sjogren′s Syndrome (SS) of Qi and Yin deficiency and its effects on immune function, serum C-reactive protein(CRP) and γ-globulin. MethodsA total of 94 patients with SS of Qi and Yin deficiency admitted to our hospital from February to December 2018 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 47 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with Pavlin capsules, and the patients in the observation group were treated with Bushen Qingre Yuyin Decoction on the basis of the treatment in the control group. The clinical efficacy, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptom integral, serum immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, IgM), CRP and γ-globulin levels were compared between the two groups. ResultAfter 12 weeks of treatment, the total effective rates of the observation group and the control group were 89.36% and 59.57%, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The TCM syndrome integral and serum IgG, IgA, IgM, CRP and γ-globulin levels in the two groups were significantly decreased. The level of the above indicators in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). ConclusionBushen Qingre Yuyin Decoction combined with Pavlin capsule on patients with Sjogren′s Syndrome of Qi and Yin deficiency can effectively relieve clinical symptoms, significantly improve immune function and reduce the inflammatory response of patients.
