ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of azithromycin combined with Feishu acupoint pulse microwave in children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. MethodsA total of 300 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to April 2019 were selected, and were randomly divided into three groups: group A, in which children were administered amoxicillin sodium; group B administered azithromycin, and group C administered azithromycin combined with Feishu acupoint pulse microwave, with 100 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy, disappearance time of clinical symptoms, and pre- and post-treatment soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cell-1 (sTREM-1) in peripheral blood plasma, interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-10 (IL-10), tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), and procalcitonin (PCT) levels were compared between the three groups. ResultsThe total effective rate of treatment in the three groups exhibited in a descending order as follows: group C (99.0%), group B (90.0%), and group A (75.0%), with the statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). The hospital stay, defervescence time, cough disappearance time, pulmonary shadow disappearance time revealed in an ascending order with group C, group B, and group A, with the statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in serum sTREM-1, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α and PCT levels between the three groups (P＞0.05). After 7 days of treatment, the serum sTREM- 1, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α, and PCT levels of children in the three groups decreased significantly, and exhibited in an ascending order with group C, group B, and group A, with the statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). ConclusionAzithromycin combined with Feishu acupoint pulse microwave can prominently improve the clinical efficacy, decrease the levels of inflammatory factors, shorten the disappearance time of clinical symptoms, and promote recovery in children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.
