ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical characteristics of alcohol-induced mental disorders. MethodsThe clinical data of 72 patients with alcohol induced mental disorders in our hospital from September 2009 to February 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThe typical characteristics of patients with alcohol induced mental disorders were: male, lower cultural level, most engaged in physical labor; the social function impaired significantly, visual hallucination ,auditory hallucinations, delusions, behavior disorders were the main symptoms, may be accompanied by depression; comprehensive treatment could promote the prognosis. ConclusionsAlcohol induced mental disorders do much damage to the patients, early symptomatic treatment should be taken and give up alcohol.
