ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of performance appraisal in the city community public health service management. Methods7 community health service centers in the area were selected as the research object, the health records, health education, child care, elder care management as the observing indexes. The basic public health service organization and management, fund raising, services were compared before and after 3 years of the implementation of performance appraisal. ResultsAfter 3 years of the implementation of performance appraisal, the fund raising, rate of health archives and electronic filing, the management rate of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, psychosis, etc. were better than before, and the organization and management of basic public health service was improve, the super vision and guidance was further strengthen. ConclusionsIn the city community public health service management, the implementation of the performance appraisal obtains great achievements.
