ObjectiveTo investigate the difference between patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and conventional analgesia for the pain in patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods33 patients with advanced lung cancer who suffer in pain during the hospitalization were allocated into PCA group(18 cases) and conventional group(15 case), in the conventiond group, the patients were giren Fentanyl 0.05mg plus Tramadol 50mg by in tramuscular in jection and can be repeated administration; in the PCA group, the patients were girvn Fentanyl 0.4mg plus Tramadol 400mg plus chlorl piperidine 205mg plus normal Salne looml by electronil pump of venous sgstem. The scores of satisfaction scale and symptom checklist were compared between the two groups.ResultsCompared with the conventional group, pain symptoms was lighter and satisfaction score was higher in the PCA group after treatment for 2 or 3 days(P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with conventional analgesia,PCA exhibits a better effect to relieve the pain of patients with advanced lung cancer.
