ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effect of benazepril coupled with lacidipine on early renal damage in hypertensive patients with diabetes.Methods159 patients with hypertension complicated with type 2 diabetes and microalbuminuria were randomly divided into three groups with 53 cases in each.Patients in the group A and B were treated with benazepril and lacidipine respectively, while group C with benazepril and lacidipine.Blood pressure and renal function were observed before and after treatment.ResultsThe blood pressure in the three groups met the standard(≤130/80mmHg) in three months after the treatment.MA,Cyt-C and Cr in the three groups were dropped significantly after treatment (P<0.05),while the therapeutic effect of group C is superior to the other two groups.ConclusionBoth benazepril and lacidipine have obvious antihypertensive effect and can reduce the microalbuminuria in hypertensive patients with diabetes. However, the combination of these two drugs shows a synergistic action.
